Breathe. You need to start prioritising your health

Tabula Rasa Wellness Retreats cares for you and though we are planning the best retreats to come within the next few months, we know that keeping a healthy body and mind is a top priority during our world situation. We have given you a few tips to help you along the way in anticipation for our upcoming retreats.  


Whether it is free-form movement to your favourite pop song, a tightly choreographed hip-hop routine, or waltzing around your living room with a partner, dance does wonders for your physical and mental health. And it’s as easy as creating a playlist with your favourite upbeat songs and hitting play.

Breathe in while counting 1-2-3. While you hold it, notice and name five things you can see, feel and hear. Exhale 3-2-1. Repeat this breathing exercise another three times.


  • 3 x 2.5 cm pieces of fresh ginger, peeled and sliced into thin rounds
  • 4 x cups filtered water
  • Serve with honey and lemon for flavour


  • Peel and slice ginger
  • Boil water
  • Add the ginger
  • Strain tea and discard ginger pieces
  • Serve with honey, lemon and cinnamon
